Deborah Modé
OWNER & FOUNDER VICE VERSA SPEECH
Deborah Modé is the owner and founder of Vice Versa Speech and Language Services who has been providing speech therapy for children since 2005. She provides the highest level of dedication and quality of service to the clients. Her mission is to serve her clients and provide support to their families in order to work as a team to achieve their goals.
She has been practicing pediatrics since the start of her career in multiple settings including, outpatient hospital care, in-home services, school setting, and private practice working with a variety of congenital and acquired disorders.
Deborah holds a Masters of Science in Speech-Language Pathology from Worcester State University as well as a Masters of Science in Autism Spectrum Disorders from Elms College. She is licensed by the state of Texas, California, and the state of Massachusetts and is certified by the American Speech-Language and Hearing Association. She is currently enrolled at the University of North Texas studying to obtain her certification as a behavior analyst.

Meet The Team
Marlee Tarrant
Marlee Tarrant graduated with her Bachelor of Science degree in Speech-Language and Hearing Sciences from Texas Tech University Health Sciences Center in May 2020. Marlee then continued her time in Lubbock and graduated with her Master of Science degree in Speech-Language Pathology from Texas Tech University Health Sciences Center in May of 2022. Marlee is a Speech-Langauge Pathologist working alongside Deborah Modé, MS, CCC-SLP. She is licensed by the state of Texas and is certified by the American Speech-Language and Hearing Association.
Throughout graduate school, Marlee gained experience providing therapy to individuals across the lifespan. She has provided services in clinics, hospitals, outpatient rehabilitation, and elementary school settings. Marlee found her passion in working with individuals with Autism when she served as a behavioral technician at the Lubbock Autism Academy. Marlee is dedicated to her clients and their families to help provide the highest level of care and support.

Ayesha Ali
SPEECH-LANGUAGE PATHOLOGIST
Ayesha Ali graduated from the University of Texas at Dallas in December 2020 with a Bachelor of Science degree in Speech-Language Pathology and Child Development. She then graduated from Texas Woman's University with a Master of Science in Speech-Language Pathology in August 2023. Ayesha works as a Speech-Language Pathologist with Deborah Modé, MS, CCC-SLP. She is licensed by the state of Texas and is certified by the American Speech-Language and Hearing Association.
She has experience working with children in a variety of settings, including schools, daycares, ABA facilities, and pediatric hospitals. During her clinical experience, she administered speech, language, and feeding therapy to groups ranging from early childhood to geriatrics in a variety of clinical, educational, and medical settings. She developed a special interest in feeding therapy, particularly for children with sensory aversions, to help increase their food palate. She is deeply committed to ensuring that children of all backgrounds have a voice in whatever way they can express it, whether through verbal speech, or an AAC.
Dana Beranger
SPEECH-LANGUAGE PATHOLOGIST INTERN
Dana Beranger graduated with her Bachelor of Arts degree from Binghamton University in 2018. She continued to pursue her education and obtained a Master in the Art of Teaching degree in 2020 from Relay Graduate School of Education. She has spent 3 years as an Elementary Special Education teacher prior to earning her Master of Arts in Communicative Science and Disorders from Hampton University in 2024. She works as a Speech-Language Pathologist Intern with Deborah Modé, MS, CCC-SLP. The state of Texas has granted her license.
Dana has experience providing therapy in both pediatric and geriatric populations. She has provided services in clinics, outpatient rehabilitation, preschool, elementary and middle school settings. Dana has experience working with a diverse population and has completed research in how to best serve bilingual pediatric populations. She enjoys building positive relationships with families and working with the autism population using a family centered collaborative approach.
Ana Vega
OFFICE MANAGER/MEDICAL BILLING
Ana Vega is a national certified medical assistance and is certified as a pharmacy technician.
Ana demonstrated and instructed a medical assistant program using a variety of teaching skills and techniques to accommodate a diverse student population. Exams were designed, administered, and graded to evaluate achievement of course objectives by Ana. She participated in the composition and development of the course curriculum in order to stay abreast of industry standards. Ana taught classes on medical law and ethics, medical terminology, pharmacology, human anatomy and physiology, computer software, medical invoicing, and medical insurance to medical assistant students.

INSURANCE UPDATE:
We have made the difficult decision to terminate our insurance contract with Aetna, effective October 1, 2024. We will no longer be accepting Aetna clients at and after September.

We are in-network with Aetna Better Health, Blue Cross Blue Shield, United Healthcare, Scott and White Healthplans, Molina, and Parkland.
We offer private payment plans for evaluations and therapy. We may also seek out-of-network coverage with your insurance company directly, to seek reimbursement through your plan.
